The Meaning of Bravura

Pronounced bruh-VOOR-uh, bravura describes a performance of exceptional skill, brilliance and boldness. It reflects the confidence required to step onto a stage and share music with an audience—at every age and level.

Founded with Purpose

Bravura was founded by pianist, teacher and studio director Charlotte Lorens. After years of preparing students for examinations, recitals and public performances, Charlotte saw the need for a competition pathway that felt both prestigious and encouraging - one where developing pianists could be recognised for their artistry, progress and commitment.
