Regional Heats
How much does it cost to enter?
Regional entry is $35 per competitor, inclusive of GST.
How are entries submitted?
Regional entries are submitted online using a working unlisted YouTube video link.
When do entries close?
Entries close at 11:59 pm AEST on 27 September 2026.
Does every entrant receive feedback?
Yes. Every Regional entrant receives a professional adjudication report and certificate.
Performance Requirements
Can competitors use sheet music?
Yes. Competitors may perform from memory or use sheet music.
How many pieces are required?
One complete piece is required for the Regional Heats.
Which division should I select?
Select the division that most accurately reflects the level of the chosen repertoire, from Preparatory through to AMEB Grade 8.
Can a competitor enter more than once?
A separate entry and entry fee must be completed for every performance submitted.
Progression and Live Rounds
Does entering guarantee a Semi-Final invitation?
No. Progression is determined separately by the adjudicator.
Do Semi-Finalists perform the same piece?
Yes. Semi-Finalists perform the same piece submitted for the Regional Heats.
Do Grand Finalists perform a new piece?
Yes. Grand Finalists must prepare a new piece for the final round.
Where are the Semi-Finals held?
The Semi-Finals are held live at Wentworth Falls School of Arts on 25 October 2026.
